I did some searching to figure out how to do this maneuver too. The best source that I found is the book "Aerobatics for Everyone" by Dave Patrick. There are three pages devoted to the Lomcevak in it.
Basically you pull up to a 45 degree climb at full power, roll to a right knife edge, now apply full left rudder, full left aileron, and full up elevator to do a inside left snap and hold. Just before your plane rotates over the crest of the maneuver and becomes inverted apply full down elevator and hold the left rudder, left aileron and power. This is the cool part. The tail will will rotate forward through the direction of flight under the plane. The airspeed will be low (still with full power). Now the plane is moving backwards through the air as it starts to fall. From this point you can cut throttle and enter a flat spin or fly out or the maneuver. One time I nuteralized the controls while the plane was flying backwards and the plane simply stopped straight and level and I flew out the other direction. Now that was really cool!!!
Get that book and read up on it, you can get it at Tower or through Model Airplane News. I hope this has helped!!

Shawn

No problem. The Lomcevak has always been my favorite and that book will tell you about four or so different ways on how to enter the maneuver. It can be entered upright, inverted, or left or right knife edge whichever you like best. Hmmm....now just to get that smoke system ordered and go see what it looks like with smoke on!!![8D]
