Dewey,

I'll be there for sure. I'm hoping to get out there Friday afternoon for some practice. Who else?

Hello Dewey,

How are you doing? Staying busy flying that Diesel 9 around? I'd love to make it to the contest this weekend but I have in-laws in town! I saw where you made the list for the Tucson Shootout. I applied too but did not make the cut. I guess 2 second place finishes and 3 firsts just ain't good enough![X(]

Hey Dewey!

It was nice to meet you last weeek in Grove City. I hope the weather works out for this weekend as I am looking forward to this contest.

Kurt told me yesterday that it should be a big turnout.

You get that engine fixed? I forget which maneuver it was but I think it was the 1-1/2 snap with inverted pushover looked like it was in slow motion! Great flying.

I look forward to when I am that good on the sticks. My goal this week is to not come in last [>:]

See ya this weekend.

well chip
that makes two of us.. lol.. but not big deal.. I'm glad you will be there, I'm going to try,but things aren't good so far. I'm on IOE ,which is training in the plane.and the I asked for the days off and it didn't sound all that positive.. I Did take the engine off and it looked worst then before.. I had two groves in the piston above the ring so i think that is why it didn't have compression. I would hate to see my engine with full power, I probably beable to pull some nice vertical line.
Mark
They may call you for the tucson shootout if someone backs out. I hope you go.. Andrew Jesky and are shipping our planes out there. and thanks to a really good friend in El Paso with a 40foot RV for the hotel. I hope to see you all there this weekend.. deweyd

Hey Dewey -

You should have been there! Gatewood flew really well and ended up winning the contest - and the Points Championships!!!! All you had to do was show up and fly! BTW - I won the Carden Kit!!!

Wayne - We get together during the off season and have some fun. The plans for the Chicken Wing are in progress. Looks like it might be in Cincinnati this year sometime around Halloween. Also, there is the winter Dinner/Get Together - lots of good food and plenty of pictures!!!! Hope you can make it.

hey Keith and everyone

I Know I should have been there. I really, really really tried. I finished a trip at 7 pm Friday and then I called my chief pilot to see if i could have had the days off. he said sorry . we are really short on crews and I'm still in IOE so I couldn't do much with that. I was really disappointed about not winning the championship, but what can you do when you don't fly every contest!!. I have to give it to Jim Gatewood, and others in different classes for their dedication. I think I made it to 8 contest and won 6, and got second in the other 2, so I'm very pleased with myself and all the friend that gave me tips on how to improve my flying. I'm really going to need alot of help for next year.
I am going to the Tucson Shootout in October, and representing the NC in the contest. I'm going to start practicing as much as I can ( ONCE I GET MY ENGINE BACK),and try to clean up alot of things that I think I'm weak at. but thanks Keith for thinking about me at the championship, I know it would have been a blast, and i know I would have been there to fly!!!!. next year, next fly in, next anything hope to see you all.. Dewey D
Chip how did you finish at the championship?

I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the great fun I had in the IMAC world this season. Lots of great friends, laughs, and good people. This year has probably been the most fun I have ever had flying in 16 years. I hope to see all of you again next year, or at the Masters next week. Thanks again, off to practice AGAIN!

dewey!

the regionals was a blast!! i did some of my best flying, and only lost to little matt by 200 points. i think flying my "handycap" makes up for a lot of those points though (hehehe).

hows flying the DC-9 go'n for you?

see you all later!

brian
