Default IMAC first comp

Last weekend i competed in my my first IMAC style competition
and i have to say "WHAT A BLAST" . Having competed in traditional
"Pattern" for the last two years it was the complete change in the
style & attitude of the event which realy stood out .
The weather was shocking , it *issed down for most of the day and
the wind blew @ 15 - 20mph . We only got one round in but a good
time seemed to be had by all , looking at the fantastic collection of planes
and the exchange of ideas and infomation was fantastic for someone
new to the competition like me.
To all the guys who organised (ASAA)and attended the day THANKS !!!

Hey Stu. Have you tried Ian Howard thats where I got mine. Have you got your header pipe yet. If your header pipe is the one that comes straight out from the exaust port you will have to modify it to fit properly under the engine dome. The header pipr needs to be the one that angles down from the engine. Ian didnt have these last time I checked. I hade to get mine modified.
Cheers Matt

Matt , I got a reply from Ian tonight and have ordered the pipe & header .
I have gone for the 1080 pipe as suggested by Dick Hansen, as for haveing
to modify the header this is no problem , I have a full engineering work
shop .
What did you have to do to yours . I'm assuming a cut & re angle of the
header plate + a bit of tig to put the whole thing back together

I had mine unbronzed(if there is such a word)Then rebronzed on a down angle and also put a different angle on the flex section so that all the angles at the joins were as straight as possible. Mines all finished except for the programming side of things.Just witing on the weather so I can maiden her.
Cheers Matt
