Can't go wrong with the Columbo 34%. Awesome flying IMAC model. No coupling what so ever.

Mike,
I am flying a DR Hobbies Extra 330L check it out at www.bp-rc.com
I am running the BME 110 with a BME 27x10 prop and it works great.
The plane draws very good lines up and down and very little rudder to elevator mix.

Mike;
I have same engine on Comp-ARF 2.6 YAK. Weighs 24lbs with 2000sq inches. 101"WS
Everyone who has flown it says best flyin plane they ever flew. Only $1200 for kit. That includes all hdwr incl wing bags, except wheels & tank. When you add it all up only $100-200 from H-9!

Ryan I am not sure yet. Been talking to the guys at BME Aircraft. Waiting to see what happens with that. My BME 110 was ship today. I need a plane that will fly good in IMAC Knowns and UnKnowns but still be good for airshows. Did alot over the course of this year. And all I had was a pattern plane.

Also in a 33-37% airplane are you guys using two air born systems?

Mike,
Do you want to build, or are you looking for an ARF, ARC or RTF plane? All the planes mentioned above are great choices. If you want to build, my personnal preference would be the Carden Extra. Not sure how the BME works out in this plane though. You would want to be cautious building it to avoid a tail heavy plane. No big deal as long as you plan ahead. Of course the Columbo Anderson or Aero Tech are both good choices as well. Almost comes down to asthetics. As for the ARFs, the comp arf Yak is pretty nice. You'd end up with a super light plane. I'm not a big fan of the 2.6 Comp Arf Extra, they present like a small plane and are pretty fast in the box. However, several guys in our region have done well with them. I have no experience with teh DR hobbies stuff, but it got Todd Blose aproval so it can't be bad.

Either way you go, your gonna be satisfied. It's great that we have so many choices these days.
Good luck,
Kev

Mike,
When you get your BME Ultimate if you have any questions let me know, I did all the
testing on the prototype last year.

Talk to you later,

I used 9151 servos on the wings and stab and 2-9303's on the rudder.
This combination worked great. That was what I had at the time.
I would run S9351's on everything if I were you.
4 For Wings
2 For the stabs
2 for the rudder
1 9101 for the throttle
Talk to you later,

Got the wings, stab, fin, and rudder today. The Fuse should be here Friday. Man this thing looks sweet!
Not sure when the motor is going to get here.

Mike,
The prototype Ultimate that I have the Extensions for the top wing goes through the bottom wing
and through the struts to the top wing. If this is how yours is, here is what you need.

5 - Futm4147 22in Extensions
6 - Futm4145 16in Extensions
3 - Futm4130 Dual Extensions

If you have any questions give me a call
