2005 Prado IMAC Cancelled
Thursday, June 02, 2005
To: IMAC Southwest Region Fliers
It is with sadness, that I must inform the general membership, that the IMAC contest scheduled for September 10-11, 2005, at Prado Field, in Chino, California has been cancelled. The cancellation is the result of the Parks Department temporarily closing Prado Field after a near-miss incident with a full scale aircraft. Prado has been re-opened, but with such tight flying restrictions that it would not be possible to have an IMAC contest, at Prado, under the current flight rules.
Please accept my apologies,
John Lees
Contest Director, Prado IMAC
