Default Pipe for ZDZ 50

I am currently running a ZDZ 50NG with pitts muffler in a Vision. Model is 15 1/2 lbs and I am getting a solid 7500 on a 22X8 Menz S. I would like a bit more poke so I am thinking of putting a tuned pipe/mini pipe on it. Has anyone any experience of pipes/manifolds with this engine? It has to be suitable for 3D and faster stuff as well. Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Angus

I ran just a Silencer pipe on ine and it ran quite powerfully.

RC SHowcase also just came out with wraparound headers for the ZDZs too.

Not to mention the AMT tuned pipes... they have a 50cc pipe and Dick has reported good results from these pipes (though I don't know if he has directly used one on a 50 yet) the 50cc pipe isonly 10 oz.... very light for tuned system...

Chips Quiet pipe would be a good choice as it's tuned, quiet and light... only 8 oz

Hi Maudib,

Yes I saw a post by Dick saying how good the AMT pipes were. Do you have a link to their web site or a shop that sells them + manifolds?
