Hi,
I'm planning to start IMAC
(if I can find some comps in Aust![:'(]) in the coming season, wondering how people think the H9 Edge 1.2 with a Enya 1.55 would go?
It's still being built and should be ready about November cause I take my time make sure it's as right as possible
!!
Also how 'bout a Comp-ARF 2.3 Xtra with DA-50 and mini-pipe set-up (noise restrictions are tight[X(]), both for IMAC, and a first gasser?

John,
Your H9 Edge will do fine. I flew one up into Advanced. It wasn't competitive at that level, but I had fun and more importantly I learned a lot flying it. So then when I finished my big plane, I was ready. I won every advanced contest after that and it really set me up so the transition to Unlimited was no big deal. I was using a YS 1.40 in mine, great combo. Take your time, master the fundamentals of each category before you move up and have fun with it. Get someone to help you setting it up properly for IMAC and you'll be amazed how good it can be.
As for the comp arf, I can't help much there. I have no experience with the small CA stuff, but I do own a Super Extra. It's adequate, but I don't know that that's means anything for the 2.3. The DA 50 and pipe is an excellent choice.
Best of luck to you,
Kev
