Default 2 blade IMAC?

what 2 blade is everyone using on their 150s for IMAC without including the mejzlik 32x10 or 30x12? I have been using a fuchs 32x12, but was looking for something with a little better braking.

Thanks, but in my case I cant run ANY 30x12 2 blade as they are too small, I need at least a 32" prop.

I've tried many sizes and brands and have always come bach to the Mejzlik 32x10. It pulls hard and is quiet, what's not to like. The only exeption I've found is my 157 on pipes. The mejzlik isn't enough prop. Right now I'm using a 3W32x10 for break in and it rips that a just 1/2 throttle.

Well, I have a 157 on the 1090s, yet to run it, however, my 150 on the full pipes ripped everything I put on it regardless of size. I was tempted to try a 34x10 or 34x12, and if my new 157 runs harder than my 150, one of those might be the ticket.

A lot of the Nor Cal guys are using the Air Models 32-11. The Biela 32-10 is a good prop but it does rip very easy. I know this is a 2 blade forum but the new wide blade 28-12 Mejzlik has a slow down line.

I hate to load up the motor to keep it quiet, havent tried a 3 blade yet. I was using a fuchs 32x12 @6350 but was extremely loud and zeros for sound. Also, used the 3W 3D prop at 6100 and even louder. Maybe a 30x12 fuchs 3 blade might work?

Your sound score is just as much throttle control as prop selection. the Fuchs has narrow tips and a wide hub, it really cranks the rpms. I dont think you will want any 30-12 prop, fuchs make a 30-14 that is quiet but don't even ask about the down line speed.

I have 10 flights on the 28.5 12 3 blade Mej. and this prop has fast upline and medium speed downlines. The down lines are slow enough to fly the advanced sequence well. The only time I fly over half throttle is after the plane is pointed up!

I have not tached the prop. I really dont care what the rpms are, only how it flys. The uplines are much faster then the 32-10. The prop does not rip on the upline. I will tach the engine this weekend.

I am flying it on a Carden 40% extra, DA 150, and KS 1080 pipes.
