Default comp-arf rudder wobble

I have a new 40% comp -arf extra 330.the rudder wags back and forth ,during flight .what is the best cure ?I had a piece of square material on the rudde trailing edge ,it helps a little ,but you can still see a little wobble.[sm=confused.gif]

Dave,

Make sure your pull-pull cables are tight enough. They don't have to be super tight but they should not have slack in them when the rudder is at neutral.

I usually take a piece of plastic 3/16" 90 degree angle and glue it on the trailing edge of the rudder in the shape of a V.

The only other thing I can think of is if your servos have slop in them, most metal gears do. So you may get a a very little play from that but it should not effet flight because once the air is blowing over the rudder, it will put tension on the cables.

That's all I can think of.
I'm also assuming that all servos and trays are mounted securely and that all the linkages do not have any slop in them.

Some guys also have found the air balancer to be too large. A few guys I know have cut a piece of the air balancer off and then attached it to the verticle stab, thus making the air balancer smaller and the verticle stab larger. It seemed to make a big difference according to the pilot. If I'm not mistaken, the Super Extra has a smaller air balancer that the 3.0 Extra.

SWB makes a offset servo arm that will fix the problem
Just tell them you have the Comp-arf 3.0 he will know
what you need. Here is the link
http://www.swbmfg.com/ and look under the Offset servo arm
