in the NC any of the contests are ones not to miss. that dosent help you much, but. whatever contests you make, you'll have a blast. im planning on going to most of them.

From: peebles, OH,
johny, make sure you make the peebles imac! i guess i'm a little biased since i put it on in my backyard. we put on a fireworks display and have a big party with bonfire on saturday night. we are going to have a free pig roast for all pilots and family this year as well. good time with good friends. either way you can't beat the guys in the nc region! toby....

Johny,
I was new last year and these are the ones that I went to.
Columbus in May -------> All classes very well attended. Strange flying airspace.
Boone County (Cincinnati)------> Well attended, Pray for no dead stick, don't miss the runway.... (Ask Kurt "The Tree Trimmer")
Greater Cincy ------> Well Attended, Great facility, lots of fun...
Peebles ------> This is more of a party with a little IMAC thrown in for fun. Remember, what happens in Peebles, STAYS IN PEEBLES!
These were the ones that I went to, all of them were a great experience. The people are great and the competion seemed pretty stiff in every class. I can't wait for this season to begin. Now that I have a better idea of what to expect, I am hoping to be tougher to beat this season. I am not sure what class you fly, but it looks like the Sportsman class is going to be really hard this year in the NC.
