In the intermediate sequence the first manuever is a 7/8th inside loop with a half roll on the 45 down line. Does this half roll need to be center on the 45 down line? I watched the cirkus demo video of the guy flying it and he rolled almost immediately after the 7/8th loop. On the diagram it shows the half roll immediately after the loop, but I have been trying to center it on the 45 and it is very rushed. Rolling right after the loop is much easier than trying to center it on a short 45 line. Which way is correct?

The role should be centered on the 45 line. The trick is to start high enough to not make that line looked rushed.
7/8 inside loop to 45 degree downline,!/2 role, Exit inverted.
good luck

Yeah, you have to start this one pretty high to give yourself time. I was pretty sure it should be centered but was wishing it would be immediately after the loop.

The roller should be to the inside - notice on the Aresti diagram that the arrow is pointing into the circle. This means that the roll goes in. In Intermediate and Advanced, you will only see rollers with rolls to the inside. Only in Unlimited do rollers with rolls to the outside get introduced.

It seems people get hung up on the rollers and really tend to focus on them most. I don't think alot of people realize that it carries the lowest k-factor in the whole sequence. Not that it is not important but I try to give that little extra attention to the 4-5 highest k-factor manuevers. When you get a chance look at the value of each manuever and see which ones will make you or brake you. A 6 on the roller won't hurt as much as a 6 on the goldfish.

This is true in regards to scoring.. i agree with focusing on the K-factors.. but i sure hate finishing a sequence off with a really crappy maneuver. Esp when you have to turn around and fly again.
Hopefully i will be able to get my extra together and a few flights on her for the Crosby meet. looking forward to some fun flying again this year.

Yes, I did. For some reason the computer at work would not pull up the website. I tried it the other day when I got home and it worked fine. I'll get everyone from here to pre-register...Jonas
