All you CD's out there need to talk to the guys that put on this contest. They are weather masters. The week leading up to the contest it was over 100 every day. Saturday and Sunday it only got to 90 according to weather.com with a nice and easy northerly wind. They really wouldn't tell us their secret though.
Thanks again for the great job!

Dangerous Dan: The only reason you liked it was you got 1st in Basic AND won the 27% Hangar 9 Extra in the raffle.
Thanks for the good comments- really had a lot of fun and hope to see all of you later - either Shreveport or Sherman - should be at both.

I would like to say that it wouldn't have been a such a great event without all of you that made the effort and traveled in participate. It was a sincere pleasure to fly with all of you!
Pics...I have over 300. I sorted thru them today and there are some really great shots. These are all very large files. I will post some of the better ones here and if you like I will attempt to email you pics of your airsheen. I know most of you...if you want your pics emailed too you please email me with your name and the email address you want the pics sent too. Please make sure your filters will allow yahoo or cox and can take large files. I will try to limit each email to 9MB. Please bare with me but I will get you your pics if I have em.
I got my schedule for next month and I will make Shreveport for sure! DDLstang should be in the truck with me too. Hopefully I will be able to convince Jeff Dye and Bill Cunningham to jump in the truck as well.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.

Yeah, I know. It was a tough decision, but by myself, 8hr drive, hotels etc etc. I was able to work and save for Sherman, and maybe Shreveport. Have to decide on that one.
Would still like to see the results though.
