The 10th Annual Texoma IMAC Challenge is still a ways out Laborday Sep 2nd and 3rd, but I wanted to goahead and get a thread started. We are the longest running IMAC in SC region. Years past this has been a great event ant this year should be no exception. We will have Basic through Unlimited, Freestyle, and QUAD F.

If you are planning on coming I encourage you to pre register at the link above. The field will be open all day Friday September 1st. There will be security at the field Friday and saturday nights so you can leave your trailers at the field. I will post a pilots list soon.

I am working on putting together an optional F&J seminar on Friday evening. It would be an hour or so lexture folowed by some group judging practice. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

For those interested we are planning on having a mini F&J seminar on Friday September 1st before the contest. It will be a one hour lexture starting around 6:00pm followed by some judging practice.

Remember to bring your foamy's, we will be having QUAD F(Fun Flying Foamy Freestyle). It will either be Saturday night or just before the standard freestyle on Sunday. Basically you fly your foamy to music for 2 minutes, clubmembers will serve as judges. First place wins a foamy.

Hi all,

I will most likely fly at this event. I have been trying to join the IMAC circiut for a while, but it has been very difficult due to my work schedule.
I practiced a couple of sequences last weekend and John Braziel ecouraged me to try it out. That's all I needed (some encouragement).

David IMAC Membership is not required.

You get a $5 discount on the landing fee if you are an IMAC member. Membership applications will be avalable and if you join I will give you the $5 discount, so it would be like getting the membership for $15 instead of $20.

David, This will be my first IMAC also.(Basic, VERY basic. LOL..) I have been to a couple IMAC's as a spectator and enjoyed all the visiting, and the great friends that I have made. This year I'm signing up to fly, I am going to see how bad I can do in basic.I haven't practiced much, and tomorrow morning I go in for a Tonsillectomy and a Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty. MAN..Those are a couple five dollar words . It just means I'm fourty years old and I'm getting my tonsills yanked out,and a little trimming while they are in there.I'm probably not going to get much practice in before the contest. Even if I don't do as well as I want to, I'm sure I'll have a good time with all the good hearted people that come out to fly. I hope you will be able to make it out.
