Every other conetst has Unknowns and people seem to still drink to excess..
I asked Dan today if he was going to do them or not and he said nope.

You might have talked me into going up... if you could handle it...
Sportsman went OK... Really strong crosswind which I hadn't been able to practice in. (had to send the engine to DA, I'll tell ya about it sometime)
But I was getting better each round........

Great contest, it was definately worth the trip down. That was the most control line flying I have ever seen. We will try and make it down next year for sure.

Heading to the Cincinnati contest - planning to arrive there tomorrow PM, and hoping there will be a chance to fly Friday - the only down side of being so far from home is the challenge of finding places to fly - well that and finding the time - after this weekend we have about 2100 + to drive to get to Idaho.. Thank goodness the driving is actually a lot of fun too (wife of 23 years, we get along well)
