Somebody told me that they saw a "scoring clicker" that could be used in IMAC judging. From what I was told it was a counter that could fit in one hand. It starts at 10, one button deducts 1 point and the other button deducts 1/2 point, hitting both buttons resets it to 10. Has anybody seen or heard of this and where can you find them?

Botching a manuever and hearing CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK in stereo might be distracting...I bet these are silent. Somebody was telling me about them just wondering what the web site is where they were.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread with my sarcastic comment. I haven't seen the clicker, but at the NATS a couple of years ago, they had these scoring "sticks." Each stick was about 2 feet long, and had the numbers 10-0 written from top to bottom on them. There was a little ridge between each number. Kind of like a yardstick. The judge would put his thumb on the "10" at the beginning of the manuever, and then slide it down over the ridges as he saw downgrades. If you can't find the clicker, I'm thinking these would be pretty easy to manufacture - even if they aren't quite as easy to use.

When I used to golf we used a clicker, crap I could never remember my score by the time I got to the green ... LOL. Think I got it at the local pro shop. Check out any golf / sports store. Funny, I was thinking about this clicker idea the other day when I was judging, hmm.
