Default help on half rolls

this is my first year flying imac, every time I do a half roll it seems I always over rotate. any suggestions on how to nail it , I was thinking of hiring Guido to kick my ***** everytime I did it, but looking for a less painfull way.

Try rolling slow(er). It is easier to time the stop of the roll if it is slow.

Try dialing down your control throws. A common mistake made by new IMAC pilots is having their control throws set too high. FWIW -- I've been steadily dialing down my aileron throws on my Yak-54 and am now down to less than 10 degrees of throw...

pther than dialing down your throws try dialing in some expo!! i fly basic myself and even on low rates i have 60 to 65% expo dialed in. if you have never used expo you won't beleive how much it can help your imac flying. it can really keep your wings from rocking and your nose pitching a times when your just checking up!!!!

I agree Ryan. I only have about 12 degrees on the ailerons on my AW 260 - that's down from 18 degrees but boy, what a difference it made. I only have about 15% expo on everything.

Bobby

BTW, Ryan is an excellent Advanced-level IMAC pilot.
