I am getting ready to assemble my first gas powered plane (a 3W fun Xtra).

What is the recommended method for plumbing the plane? Are you using a 3 line tank and fuel dots? What about a sullivan/dubro fueler?

Thanks

All you need to do is run a two line system.
The line to the carb needs a T on it to a fuel dot or something similiar. You wont flood the motor when fueling because your carb is a pump and no fuel will go that way till the motor is running.

Get the MIRACLE FUELER. Mounts to the side of your fuselage with a jam nut.

Like a previous poster said:
A T-connection in the fuel line to the carb, with a fuel dot to round it off nicely.
One single vent tube in the tank, going up from the bottom to prevent syphoning action.

I use the Miracle Fueler, also. Has an o-ring seal, positive 1/2 turn locking action, large enough to get a good hold. Well worth it.

Default Fueller

I like this fueller using 3 lines so as not to take any chance on having air to the carb.

Pe, can you elaborate on the syphoning issues? I'm just in the process of running my vent line in my current project. Like my last plane, I just leave my open vent line hang (dangling) about 2 inches out of the bottom of the cowl.

Thanks.........Mark
