Default First Giant Scale Comp Plane

I have been lay up for a couple of weeks recovering from surgery. I have decided I really would like a giant IMAC plane but the more I look into these the more I am confused. I have narrawed it down to either a yak or extra. I have the budget and ability to go 40% and from what I have read bigger is better? Second everyone has an opinion on the best plane out there. I know the plane is only as good as the PW ration and the build, but are aeroworks planes heavy? SD cheap? whats the best plane. I love the looks of all of them but I am going to buy one and I want to buy the best built best flying plane on the market. Please give your 2 cents. For reference I have compares TOC/PAU, BVM, Composite Arf, Carden, Hanger 9, Great Planes. Money no issue forget how good the pilot is because I will fly everyday until I can not learn any more, I want simply the best money can buy. What is it. My dilema everyone says they make the best and great pilots fly them all.

Thanks

Adam

I agree with Bobby, if you have the time to build, or can afford to have one built, Cardens are hard to beat. Likewise the composite arfs are right there also. As far as your pick between the Yak & Extra, I fly both. I personally use my carf Yak for IMAC & my carf Extra for 3d huckin. You wont go wrong with either company or either plane. If you spend the time practiceing & flying either i believe you wont be disappointed, just my opinion....Gene

Thanks for the help

I have been steerng away from the Carden from the build stand point. I am building 40 sized citibra kit, and I will never get the pofessional quality finish of the Comp arf. I have been reading to much on the TBM web site. I keep finding myself drift back to the Compaft site. There planes just look great, priced right when compared to what it would take to hire some one to get the same quality of the Carden Finish wise. I know my building abilities are eceptional my finishing abilities stink. I can make a blue rock look green not on purpose of course.

I keep getting these silly dilusions when I am on the comp arf site, I keep getting this uncontrollable urge to buy the Gee BEE with RCS 150 radial. I can't figure out the draw but it would be cool to build build but absolutely pointless as a first giant scale plane.
