Default which plane?

Hey all I would like some advice. I need some feedback on planes in the 25% range for a zenoah 45. I like extra 300 and 540's but I need an upgrade for my son to learn on. I can build kits or a GOOD ARF. Lets hear some feedback cause I can't afford to get burned.
Thanks

Default 27% C.A. Models Extra

Check out the 27% Extra from CA. Available from Planes Plus here in the states. Really a sweet kit. Sheeted foam and Laser cut parts. Sheeting is already done.

Default which plane?

Try the Linear Edge,
Came out really tail heavy with a glow motor (servos in the tail) - probably a good set up for a gasser.

Default the new kid on the block....

I am very reluctant to go with plane plus if I could not afford to get burned.... I just had a very expensive bad experience with them. I would wait a little bit and get the new Composite-arf with a 80-90" wingspan. just like the 3 and 2.6 meter they will be an awesome plane.
