Default TBM IMAC or 3D

Troy Built Models 42% 260. Need some input on this plane. Has anyone flown IMAC or 3D this plane? In need of a new 40% plane.

Default TBM 42% Extra 260

OK,

I have NOT flown this plane.
All though I WANT TO!!!!

I have seen a blue/white one fly at the JR Challenge back in Feb.
Mark Leesburg and Gene APyson both flew the same plane. Actually, Mark was borrowing the plane from Gene.
I think it weighed about 33.5 lbs.

You can see some video of it flying if you order the 2003 JR Challenge video from SKS.

I also, recently, saw a red/white one fly at the Joe Nall.
Jason Shulman flew it there and Gene Payson also flew it.
This one was heavier because of the equipment used, I think around 36 lbs.

All I can say is that from what I have seen from OBSERVING this plane fly, it HAS to be the BEST flying 40% airplane out there.

I currently own a 40% FC Extra and I WANT to fly one of these TBM Extra 260's BAD!!!!!!!

Drooling,

I have watched Gene Payson fly the TBM 260 and all I can say is that it is excellent. It just seems more crisp and precise than many others, this is the impression you get when you see it in the air.
It is great for both IMAC and freestyle.

I've flown both of his 42%'s, one at Nall and one at DOGS, and I can second that they are the best flying aerobatic planes out there. Including the 35%'s (which I own one).
