ORIGINAL: dick Hanson guys who grew up on the old pattern flying can give you some good help - we used to practice flying it from horizon to horizon as far as you could see the thing Here is my new IMAC plane -and it really does nice slow rolls At the Don Lowe Masters over this week, Mark Leseberg had side force generators on his Dalton Extra 300 & they were not allowed in the contest. They had to be dismantled. However, at the end of the contest, Mark did a demo & the airplane was noticeably more stable in the knife-edge position & tracked very well. You must master inverted flight and then start to first slow your rolls down with a slight arc. then as you grow more proficient start entering level from one direction using rudder to keep your nose from pitching down.basically, perfect the first half and then move on to the last half. Thats how I did it and I have been doing them for years with everything from extras to cubs!
