SUCCESS!!
After reading Pete's post, I figured I had to try one more time. I swapped to yet another propane bottle and this time I dialed the gas all the way down to 10%. It was also pointed into a bit of a headwind. This time it lit right off.
At this point I am not sure if it is the gas bottle or taking the gas down farther that made the difference. I will experiment a bit more tommorow.

I had 5 flawless first-time starts today on the propane. Hard to believe turning the gas from 15% to 10% made that big a difference, but there you have it.
Got to maiden the motor in the Boomerang Nano and it performed well.
Thanks to all for their help.

Remember, always install the components as recommended by the manufacturer. It appears the first propane source was either stale or was lacking properties.
A simple Bernz O Matic torch valve is the best. . .bar none. Works always.
If in this situation, always increase glow plug power before increasing gas. Too much gas will cool the filament on the plug.
Steve. . .thanks for your patience while working through this with me. It is appreciated.
Happy Holidays to all. . .

Once in a while when I shut the engine down, the GSU will read flameout - even though I manually shut it down. Any idea why that occurrs?
