Hi all
I have searched this forum and have found that accel1 and accel 2 are found byholding limits pressed on switching on.
well my software, release 6.0, it is a different button. I can find accel 1 and can change that but cannot seem to toggle to accel 2. Have I missed something?
I am trying to fix a very slow start from propane to fuel on my 120
any views , I know Matt is busy so any of you other guys out there
thanks Ian

Thanks for your feedback
my 120 is at 6.0w release of the software so it may be different. the Limits button does not take me to accell 1 another buttton does but still cant get to Accel 2. I tweaked accel 1 and the starts are better so I am going to leave it alone
but thanks for your help

My Feedback: (1)
I had checked on 6.0T before I answered. I doubt it changed since it's been that way for many 6.0x releases. Since the parameters for all JetCat engines are stored in the ECU, a software update may or may not affect your particular type engine.
I am not talking about holding buttonsduring turn on. AFTER its on, push and hold Limitswhile pressingthe Right Arrow button. That puts you at Uaccel1. Releasethe buttonsandthen pushthe Right Arrow to scroll to Uaccel2.
Uaccel1 only affects the pump start up voltage right after the propane lights off. Often enough it can be used to get a quicker transition to kero and faster initial rpm surge. Too much and you may get flames. Uaccel2 is the open loop pump voltage right at propane turnoff and allows you to fix a pause or sag in rpm acceleration at arround 18k-20k rpm. I've changed Uaccel2 quite often to make for smoother starting engines.
You can still still look around on the GSU even if you're happy at this point with what you have.</p>
