Default Jetcat P60 with flame on startup

Hope you can help.
I have a Jetcat P60 which always starts first time and never dead sticks (flames out),but every start has a large flame. Please see this video. Any advice would be great. Thanks Kevin.

You can try lowering the U1 Accel parameter to see if it helps.

You can access this through the Limits menu after the ECU has been powered on by pressing the Limits button once, then press AND hold Limits button down and press the right arrow key. Once you have done that you can let go of the Limits button. If the U1 parameter is not displayed, simply scroll through that menu with the arrow key until you see U1. To change this value, press AND hold the Change Value button (small arrow will appear next to the value indicating it can be changed) and press the left arrow key to lower or right arrow key to increase; but in your case you need to lower, so left (-) arrow key is what you will press. Each push of the button will change the value in increments. I would start with two "clicks" lower and try a start.

Hi George
I've just tried what you said and it failed to start so I put it back to where it was. I then thought I would try the U2 Accel that was at .500. I went down 2 clicks at.450 which still had a flame, but was noticeably smaller. I then went down 2 more click to U2 Accel .400 still a very small flame but started fine. I may try a bit lower when i'm up the field as the neighbours are getting a bit pissed. As i'm new to jets should there be a flame at all.
Thanks for your help.
Kevin.
