P-180
#3

Can you give more info, it’s an old P-180 or a P-180Rx or Rxi?
Battery size is based on what you want, you would get a start out of a 1000mah 30c+ battery, but guessing that’s not what you want.
I would go 2s Li-Po, 3500-5000Mah and 30c+ Bigger C rating the more starts you will get on a charge.

The reason im asking..... I have a 2 cell 7.4 v 5200 mah 20c
i ended up having a flame out.... and was told I needed
a bigger C rated battery ???.... so explain the first 3 flights
that went without a hickup. ??? Lol
after the flame out the motor would not start back up...
i waited....and bought another battery....50c rating...no
different the motor wont start.....and run on the fuel side
it try,s starting... but once it try s to switch over from kero start to Run...it flames out...its an older P-180 that was sent in to upgrade to kero start....

20c is a little light, but that’s nothing to do with a flameout. Once it’s running it will be happy with a 1c pack!
when it stopped was there a white smoke trail? If so, it was fuel supply and could even be a pump issue. So many possible things, but first is the external Kero line full of fuel to the keroplug? If the line is not sealed onto the nipple with lock wire there can be a length of air in the line and at pump start voltages it will take a long time for fuel to reach the Kero plug unless you prime the line first.
