Default p60 question

I have a new p60 purchased at Toledo R. C. show. Have completed 4 short runs on bench. All is ok except, in the info menue I do not get a report on the second parameter fuel flow. Is this normal???????

Also I have set my ecu for single channel operation. Is this detremental in any way to using the aux. channel????

Thanx for your help

Hi David,

Can you tell me which parameter on the Info menu you are not seeing? Sorry I can't figure it out for you now.

As for single channel operation (i.e. not using Aux), this has no detrimental affect on the turbine. However, I would suggest that before shutdown, you run the turbine up to about 60,000 RPM for about 5 seconds, then immediately shut it down. This helps cool the bearings and is done automatically during 2 channel normal shutdown.

Hope that helps,

Mr Matt

In the info menue, I see the fuel flow ml/min and the value shown after running is 0.0. Should a numeric value be shown here????

Hi David,

That fuel rate parameter is live so it will read "0" when the turbine is not running. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Mr Matt

Message is loud & clear. Thanx for info as I thought the info menue was static.

All is well then.

Thanx again.

Dave
