Default P60 Problems - Please Help!!!

Hi,

I have had a problem with my P60, a few weeks back the starter motor jammed onto the turbine, it managed to get to idle before I could release it. The result of this was that it fried the ECU, not completely but during the start sequence the ECU would command the starter to stop and thus retract the bendix. I now have a new ECU and then found that the o'ring had worn out, changed this tested starter thought everything was ok. Tried to start it tonight and noticed that I have no rpm reading, then it gets weird, if I test the starter from the GSU I initially get no rpm reading whilst the starter motor is accelerating, if you release the starter test button the rpm starts reading as the turbine is decelerating. On a start sequence all I get is START on the GSU and the starter engages, spins the turbine between 5K and 10K I would guess but it never transitions to ignition phase.

Anybody got any ideas, I have checked my P120 and that reads rpm all the time from test on the GSU.

Going to check all the leads now, battery is ok, in fact tried 2 batteries and tried a different data cable.

Nick

The RPM sensor has failed or is unseated off the pins. Best bet send it in for service.
