I am having some glow plug issues and am open to any advice regarding the topic.
I was at the field today flying a p70 Bandit when, while plugging it up for the third flight of the day, I got an flashing red light. I plugged in the GSU and the glow plug was flashing. No big deal, time for a new plug. I noticed that the current plugged looked ok as I pulled it out, the coil seemed intact. Nonetheless I put a new Rossi in only to find the same error message. We double checked every wire, connector, and connection in the setup but could not find a reason for failure.
Any ideas?

Hello,
Was the coil actually intact? I mean, can you put a glow starter on it and see it glow?
The reason I ask is that_any_discontinuity in the glow plug circuit will cause the red flashing LED. It can be in the plug, in the connector to the glow plug, in the plug wire, in the soldering of the plug wire, etc.
That is why it is super helpful to check that glow plug and absolutely determine if it is OK or not. That will help troubleshooting effort to move in the right direction.
Hope that helps,
