Default Twin engine setup

Matt,

In a previous forum discussion you explained how to set up for a twin engine installation. This is what you said (in part):

"In single channel mode->

Place one ECU in SEQUENCE mode and the other in IMMEDIATE mode. First have
both the throttle trim and stick at their minimum positions. Then by moving the throttle
trim to the maximum position will start the engine in IMMEDIATE mode. The engine in
SEQUENCE mode is then started by moving the throttle stick to the maximum position.

From then on, you just use the throttle as if you had a single turbine.

Like I said I am not aware of any other turbine that features this kind of operation.

Hope that helps, "

My question is, how do you place the ECU in "SEQUENCE" or "IMMEDIATE" mode. FYI, I am using two P-70's in a MIBO A-10.

Thanks,

Craig

Default RE: Twin engine setup

with your GSU in the Limits menu, it's called StartUp Mode, select Immediate for the one you want to start first and Sequence for the second one.

just to clarify, once in the turbine limits menu and on the StartUp Mode, press and hold Change Value then use the +/- to change between Immediate/Sequence/Throttle Max.

EDIT: FWIW on the Immediate, in single channel mode, the engine set to Immediate starts when the trim is advanced to max, the second engine on Sequence will then start when the throttle is advanced to max. if you're in two channel mode it starts when you flip the Aux switch to the center position.........

Thanks for the detailed explanation! That makes sense.
