Well i just ran my brand new P120SE for the first time this afternoon. It started and ran good as usual, however i do have a question. Do the SE engines surge a little while going from idle to full throttle? The throttle response was awesome as expected but it didn't seem to be very smooth. It is almost like it hesitated a few times before reaching full throttle. Once it got there, it was fine. I purged the UAT and saw no air bubbles so i don't think that is the problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had this?
Thanks,
Sean

Hello,
This all sounds normal to me.
This SE is new technology. This is not like accelerating a turbine by just throwing fuel at it (with the resultant massively high temperatures on the rear bearing), but rather the pump is adjusted at an incredible fast rate (to match the turbines characteristics), and this can result in sounds like you heard.
Hope you enjoy it!
