Default Is it the same pump??

I have a P-120 which is 4 years old which never run and a newly bought P-120 SE. I was planing to fly first with the P-120 and then switch to the P-120 SE to feel the performance.
Should i also change the pump or is it the same.
To go further on the subject, do jetcat use the same pump for their turbines or there different one for each turbine?

Regards.

The pumps are generally the same, except for the really big turbines (P-180 and P-200+).

At JetCat USA, each turbine, pump and ECU is test run and optimized as a "package". This includes adjustment of several of the "gain" settings of the various software control "loops".

Your pump will probably work OK but I would not consider it optimized until the whole unit (turbine/ECU/pump) was run/tweaked as a package. I hope that helps.

Regards,

Mr. Matt,

Do you mean that each "package" should be set at the factory to be optimised? or same will give satisfactory results if coming from different source (i.e. if you install new Ecu/pump/valves and move turbine from 1 plane to another) will you have different results??

Thanks.
Regards.

Would very much like to receive a feedback on the above view i am in a stage of buying an installation kit for my F-16 and use My P-60 already installed in a Boomerang Intro without having to remove all other components ( ECU, Pump, valves, Propane system etc...)
Will I have same results in the 2 setups or should i expect differences?

Thanks.
Regards

oops sorry I missed that.

The new install should work satisfactorily as is. Many people do exactly what you plan to do with complete success.

To have it "optimized", the components need to be "tuned" together (especially the ECU and the turbine).

Sorry for the late repy.

KC36330, Matt,

Thanks for your replies.
Presume fine tuning can only be achieved at factory for which please confirm.

Regards.
