I have just got my first turbine (Airstar JetCopter SX) and I am preparing for my first flight.
I am using the standard 1250 maH ECU Battery that comes from JetCat, which I know are supposed to be good for 2 flights, but could someone tell me what the minimum safe voltage is to have before a flight?
Also what charge rate to people use at the field to charge up the batteries for additional flights?
Thanks
David

hi David,
charge every flights, to keep the tension peak.
I use 3.800 NIMH in our JETCATS, but, charge every flights.
I hope help you.

in time : charge rate to your batterie : 0,7 ~ maximum 1,2

i ge mine with a Triton on AUTO and it peaks up around 5 amps at times, with a propane start i can get 3 flights off a stock 1250 even letting the starter do the cool down. just fly a few times ging on every flight to get an idea of the draw you're taking from the battery and then you can get an idea of the number of flights you can safely get off a single ging, it is however good practice to ge every flight, but not really practical.
EDIT: for some reason when i type in c h a r g e it comes over as ge.................another RCU screw up i guess so some of the wording above may appear to be typed by a drunk so try adding that word )
