I'm in the process of learning setup of my P80. This is my first jet engine so I want to be sure I do things right. I,m using a JR10x. I want to use single channel operation as describe on page 31 of the manual version V4.0L. I have done all of the steps as listed. The next section of the manual (page 33) Learn R/C talks about two channel operation. I assume this does this not apply now that I have done single channel operation setup as described on page 31. Is this assumption correct, if not please clarify. (info)I have not attempted an engine start yet, only going through the steps listed in the manual.

You have it right. Once you set the ECU up for single channel operation, when you "learn RC" you will only see the prompts for programming the throttle channel.
