Default Problem with DM8 module in Hitec Optic6

I havea new spektrum DM8 module in my previously 35Mhz Optic6 for my BNF stuff and when I switch on the transmitterthe voltage indicatorjumps around continuouslyabout0.5V every 1 to 2 secs.

When Ibind aplane to it Ihave control ofall surfaces butwith no stickmovementall control surfaces on the plane also jumps around every1 to2 secs.

However when the bind button is pressed the voltage is constant and there is no control surface movement.

Is the DM8 faulty? The Optic6 works fine on the 35Mhz module.

Thanks.

Can you try a different battery pack?

How well does your module fit? I had to put a small shim in my Eclipse 7 due to the slightly different opening Hitec vs. Futaba.

It flickers .1V as the voltage decays, but it did that when it was on 72 as well.

You should check the battery pack - you may have a bad cell in it.
