Well the DX7s is coming. Its a lot like the DX8, just a few less options to keep the price down to $300 with a AR8000. I came here thinking there would be a big old thread going about it. I was surprised when I did see one. I might pick one up.

It's a good looking radio and at a well placed price point.
I love my DX8, just love it. I had a 6, a dependable, easy to program radio that just felt a little 'cheap" but still a good one, then had the first version of the DX7.
I hated it. That programming was pathetic, the radio worked just fine, felt good, but that programming was the worst I've seen in 20 plus years in r/c.
I said the same thing on HeliFreak and made reference to "maybe they put the alcoholics in charge of writing the DX7 programming" and it got me a lifetime ban.[]
The guy who'd spent 7 pages explaining to everyone how they just didn't know what they were doing didn't like it , so when I said "I dont give a third of a fifth if you agree or not" I get "You have been banned for "Hostile,rude behavior" with an expiration of "never". (!!). Of course he wouldn't respond to my 'are you serious' e-mails, big suprise,huh ? A big man, indeed. Maybe an alcoholic though .
Oh well, I dont miss the 7 a bit, this 8 though to me is a home run, and I hope that 7s is too. Doug
