Having trouble installing setup files on my DX8
I downloaded a couple airplane setups for my DX8 from the Horizon website but I'm having trouble loading the setups on to my TX. I'm using the directions in the manual but after I select the setup file on the SD card, the TX doesn't give the import option.
Anyone have any ideas?

In the SD card menu it says status ready. When I scroll down and click on folder it then shows the setup file I downloaded. When I scroll down and click on the file the screen says select folder again but there isn't anything to select, just the word back at the top and bottom.

OK, sounds like you have a little confusion happening.
Insert SD card.
Change option to Import Model.
Select the model you want. If you have it in a folder, you can select the folder and then the model.

Set Wing type to 2 Ail/2 Flap.
Plug the servos in as shown on the Monitor screen.
Go to Flap System to configure the flap positions for a 3-position switch. One will be to center flaps, one for flaps down, the other for flaps down and to engage the crow mix.
Define the crow mix (any numbered mix, Mix 1 for instance) as FLP > LAL (Flap to Left Aileron, which will give flap-like action on the ailerons). Set the switch to be enabled using your selected flap switch but only in the desired position.
Adjust the mix rate to make the ailerons go up as much as you want. Ailerons will still act as ailerons, but will be deflected up with the stick centered.
Done.
