Default Voltage change with stick movement

Hey guys,

I have an old 783 with a 2.4 module that my son is using in his Tiger 60. We noticed yesterday that the voltage display changes when you move the throttle stick to wide open and when you move the aileron stick to full right. I can't say I ever noticed this before and of course, I have had the radio for a long time.

Turn it on and voltage is about 10.1; advance either or those sticks as mentioned above and the voltage changes to about 9.7. In all cases, the voltage holds steady, its just that it changes.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Tom

That's not a problem. A 2.4gHz radio uses power differently than an AM/FM did.

If you're really concerned, send the tx with its module back and let Product Service go over it.

I think you are right! We charged it up and my son put about 7 flights on the Tiger without a hitch.

What a great flying plane...

Thanks for taking the time to respond Andy, appreciate it!
