Default XP6102 Modulation

Danny,

In looking at the press release for the new XP6102 on the Horizon website, it appears we've decided to drop Z-PCM as one of the modulation types available with that transmitter. Is it true, or is it a typo?

Thanks,
Gary L.

That is not a typo, the 6102 does not support ZPCM.

Default RE: XP6102 Modulation

Danny - I am also on Team JR- and have just purchased a 6102, on it's way to me.
I fly a 10X -natcherly -and have had just about every radio from the very first one Donny Weitz showed me in the early 1980's -which was on 40 mhz.
I read the info stuff on the Horizon site and there were a couple of questions I had.
1- the set is on 72-- and in that it is a changable crystal -- not a Tx module ----- is it going to be available on 50 mhz? (different tx ?)

Will it support a 9 ch rx?
any problems there ?
does it actually have more than "6" outputs?
You answered the Z mode question --
I really liked the features -this will be my electric models Tx -
I use the little 610 M Rx on all my lil foamies - and have had nary a problem -even at some almost OOS "range checks" .

There are no plans to have the 6102 available on 50 Mhz at this time. The only systems we have available on 50 Mhz are the 8103 and 10X which are modular based.

It will work fine with a 9 channel receiver, but you will only have control of the first 6 channels. The other channels will be dead and have no function.

The 6102 does have a great number of features for a 6 channel system, with great flexability, but it is still easy to program.
