Default RE: BROKEN ANTENNA WIRE

I would recommend using part number JRPA170 for the antenna, which is a direct replacement. The lithium memory battery is a soldered in component, and fairly difficult to change. Also the system will need to be reset afterwards. It is possible to change the lithium battery without losing the memory, but is farily difficult to change it that quickly, and if the battery is dead, chances are that the memory is gone already. It is much safer and easier to send the system in to have this done. Also if you would like, our service department will replace an antenna on the receiver at no charge, provided no other service or parts are required in addition to the antenna.
