I have a 4131 on the wing of a 90 size plane. It has developed a soft spot in the travel just off (my) center where the travel slows down to a crawl and then picks back up again. This was tested running the digital subtrim on the radio up and down at a consistent rate. I swapped a new one and it does not do this. Is this servo on the way out? Is it trustworthy? It's less than a year old and is fine otherwise with no jitter.

This sounds like it could either be a bad pot or perhaps an partially blown amp. It does sound like the servo needs to come in for a check up.
