Default 378X conversion to 6M/50Mhz Ham?

Last Saturday 4 fliers showed up at my club field all on CH15. I was one of them. One way to reduce the # by 1 and help all of us would be for me to have my 378X and/or R700 changed over to the 6M/50Mhz band. Is this possible for the 378X? for the R700? What is a typical cost/turn-around time? and finally would I be out of commission for an extended time waiting for a special order RF deck for the xmitter?

In general I like JR's manuals, but I think I've seen references (here maybe?) that indicate some options not mentioned in the manuals or on Horizons web page may exist.

Thanks,
Jon Gaines

I'm sorry to say that this is not possible with either the 378 or the R700, they simply are not available on 50 MHz and it is not possible to convert them.
