The 10X operating frequency is totally dependant on the module.
Therefore, if the current module is removed and a 72 MHz module is inserted, then all will be fine. Ditto for 35MHz, 36MHz, 40 MHz modules.
The only criteria in the US is that you have to order the module on the channel of your choice in order to meet the FCC regulations. Luckily here in Europe, we do'nt have that restriction on us !

Thanks again, Mac. I suppose that means that if I were to trade my heli 10X transmitter to someone with an aircraft 10X transmitter, we could each keep our modules and all would be cool. Thats great! Thanks again.

Yes, that is correct, you can do that without any problems. The module contains the entire RF determining circuitry, so they can be changed freely. The crystal in them however can not be changed except when performed by an authorized service center, per the FCC.
