Default 8103 Transmitter

Hi Danny... I am seriously considering the purchase of the 8103 system, however, I do have a couple of questions.

Can I change a 8103 transmitter from Mode II to Mode I, or does it require to be sent back to the Service Department ?

2.) I recently purchased a Ultimate. Does the 8103 have the EASY ability to have the lower wing servos (2) on say for example, Channel 1, and the upper wing servo's (again 2) servo's) on say Channel 7 ?

One more; Does the 8103 have a three (3) position switch for flaps ?

As I do not have access to the manual, I am hoping that you would pass on the information.

Thanks;

Carl

Default RE: 8103 Transmitter

You will need to send it in for conversion, or if buying one, buy it already in mode 1. It is possible to set this up, but does take some mixing. It is easiest in glider mode, set to dual flap, this method saves one mix. Yes, it has 3 position flaps, sometimes it does take a bit of mixing to set up all 3 positions, but it does have a 3 position flap switch. The new 9303 system also has these features but it is easier to set up, FYI.

The manual for the 8103 can be viewed by clicking this link, and then the manual link on the left hand side of the page:
