Default XS3 Compatibility problem with hitec receiver

I have gotten a hitec HFS-03mm receiver with a hitec 75 mhz (single conversion) channel 78 crystal, to match my 75mhz receiver. The Hitec receiver says it has universal compatibility. I have a problem controlling my hitec servos attached to this receiver. With my receiver on, I turn on my xs3 and the servos glitch around a little bit, stop, then are unaffected by my transmitter after. Channel 77 also creates the same situation (receiver crystal still 78). Is there anything I can do to use this receiver or do I need to get rid of it?
Thanks for any help guys

Default RE: XS3 Compatibility problem with hitec receiver

If the receiver is on a Hitec/Futaba shift it will not work with a JR radio. If the receiver has a shift select switch, it may be possible to change it. I would recommend checking with Hitec for furter assistance.
