9303 problems.. Can you help Danny?
Danny,
I am pretty sure I know the answer to this...
Is there any way to clear the flash and re-set to factory defaults on all models.
Last night I was reviewing my models and getting ready to transfer them to another
9303 I have purchased. I noticed that my model number 3 listed garbage for the name
and modulation. I successfully transferred my model number 2 to the other 9303 and figured
that I would just go in and reset model 3. Upon entering model 3, the transmitter went dead.
I cannot power it up, it will show some lines on the screen or the whole screen will be filled in.
The usual beep is not there.
Is there a key sequence that I can use to clear all model entries and maybe "reboot" the transmitter
to factory new?
I am filling out the service request form so I can send the unit in. What all should I send in...
TX, Antenna, battery and TX module?
Thank you...

True, It does state how to use the model clear. But in order to do that you need to be able to turn the unit on to some useful state.
as I stated in my first post.
Thank you for trying.

It does sound like the system will need to come in for a check up. You will only need to send the transmitter itself, but can send any other equipment you would like to have checked out as well.

Thanks,
My unit is already on it's way. Maybe in future versions...
JR could have a method of reseting a model without actually haveing to go into the model.
In this case it would have saved me. All range checks were good on at least one other model.

A feature like that could cause clearing of all of the models of a transmitter accidently, and in a 30 model memory system, could cause lots of headaches.

if you get this advise :
I experienced the same exact failure today with a 9303 --- it's in the box and on it's way to Illinois now -- but it seems odd that you had
precisely the same sequence occur . I sure hope it isn't costly .
