Default R-700 Reciever ???

Hi, I have a new R-700 receiver and when i went to plug in the batt. lead it slid in way too easy for my comfort. Takes very little pull to get it un-plugged. My other JR receiver wont let go of anything. It hold's the plug in's tight. Tried a diff. lead and same thing . ???? If it's the nature of the beast OK but if there's something weird about this please let me know. OR . I'll be glad to trade you for a complete 8103 system. really I would, thx Buz^

Default R-700 Reciever ???

I just tried the R700 along with a few other receivers in my desk and they all required about the same amount of force to plug them in. I'm not sure what the difference would be however.

That almost sounds like a fair offer.

Default quick solution!!

you can just wrap some thin tape around the lead until it slidesd in snugly.
I surely wouldn't trust my airplane to a loose lead on my reciever.

Are these using JR connectors, is the switch a JR switch, and if so, which one? I've tried several R700's and can't duplicate this.

Mine is a stock set up aswell, all other servo plugs are tight as a tic, but the batt led would come out with very little persuasion me thinks, I will use it I guess since i haven't received my new 8103 but it will be secured . thx Buz^
