The FCC has a law against changing the frequency of a transmitter except when performed by an authorized service center. It may need to be retuned to the new frequency.

You can send just the module if you wish, that is not a problem. The cost would be around a unit of labor, which is $7.50 plus shipping if you already have the crystal. Our turn around time is around 4 to 5 days right now or less.
