Default 610M Qustion Again

Saying its full range, does that mean that I could put the 610M in say a turbine, If I wanted to, that the kind of range im wanting I dont want nothing that will go only 1000 ft and quit. See my LHS ordered a 610M instead of a R600 that why,m this 610 will do the job if it has the range that anything else has even though its for small planes.

Thanks,
Justin

I would not recommend the 610 for turbine use. For turbine use, I would recommend PCM only. The 649, 955, or 945 would be my recommendation for that application.

Sorry for the confusion but its application is park flyers right so It could not be used on a .40 or .60 sied airplane? And also you you know the range in feet or miles??

Thanks/Sorry,
Justin

It is for park flyers, though I've seen them used in sailplanes and some small glow aircraft. The range is out of sight, there is no real distance I can provide in operation.

Default OK

Thanks for this information, would you think it would be safe to put in a Lt-40 for just a knock around plane, it will be flying as high as you could possible see somtimes and as low, so what do you think. Maybe as far as 3000 ft away

Provided there are no problems with any of the equipment that should be fine. Do a good range test first though. Here is a good article written up for range testing. http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/articles/1079.asp
