R700 got wet???
Hi,
I crashed and the airplane landed upside down on a lake shore. The receiver R700 got wet but not soaked. I opened it up and sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner. When I hook up the battery with the servos connected the servos power up, but when I turn on the transmitter nothing happens. The batteries are all fine. Is the receiver ruined? Did it short out something on the circuit board? Is it repairable? Anything I can try to fix it? Thanks,
Alan

Crash damaged RX.
First, try a different crystal. f this does not fix it, you will have to send it to Horizon. It could also be bad IF filter or something.

I tried a different crystal and no luck. I also have one 537 servo that will not respond to a transmitter signal but it does power/center up. I have tried to get the receiver to respond but no success. Will Horizon fix it for less than the cost of a new one?

If it is over 50% of the cost of a new item, we will inform you of your options, or if we can't get a hold of you, return the item to you. If you would like to have it checked it, go ahead and send it in, fill out this sheet when you send it in. http://www.horizonhobby.com/media/pd...rchecklist.pdf
