Default 8103 with rubber ducky antenna

Hi Danny,

I want to send in my 8103 Tx for a check up but I have installed a rubber ducky antenna.

Do I need to remove this and replace the original antenna before sending it in or can the tech guys perform the check up with the rubber ducky antenna?

I use this radio for my helis and 3D foamies so a little less range is not an issue for me.

I use my 9303 for most of my other planes.

Also, must I send the Tx with the module or can I use the module in my 9303 while the 8103 is being worked on?

Thanks,

Dan F.

You can send it with the antenna, but it may be best to remove it for shipping purposes. You don't have to send the module, it of course can't be checked for proper performance if you don't send it, but that is up to you.
